I find Lisbon has many faces. There’s the riverside, the old neighborhood Alfama, there’s the city centre, with Barrio Alto (the higher neighborhood), the new parts and then next to the bridge there’s this whole creative, alternative side, called Village Underground.
I loved just walking around, being surprised with everything I saw.
When I was walking around in Alfama, I wanted to photograph this street, when a door opened and and a young woman walked out. It made an otherwise mediocre photo suddenly interesting. Sometimes photography is pure luck.
