Unnoticed beauty

wpid-psx_20151119_230457.jpgWhen walking a route every day, one might stop seeing the beauty of that route.
I know I did.
But sometimes you just have to start noticing the city again. The views in Barcelona, the streets, the buildings… I might forget about them, but when I don’t, I’m never disappointed.

Ronda de Sant Antoni is one of the streets tourists only take to get to their hotels. I fear they also barely notice how beautiful the buildings here really are. And who can blame them: the facades, the colours, they’re too high up in this busy street. This beauty is almost a secret.
For me that’s reason enough to look up now and again and stare in awe.
